Advertisments

I couldn't help smiling when I noticed a Google ad for 'Carer's Allowance' from Direct.gov. co. uk on my side bar.

HUH - they make you jump through demeaning hoops; all ways front and back, top n tail, and do their damnedest not to pay it.... They hope that you'll give up the whole idea by wearing you down along with the threat that if you challenge their decision, the pittance you have been granted [so far] may be withdrawn.

Hi, I came to you via your comment on suffolk's. Have read down a few blogs and goodness you have it tough. It sounds impossible living in that way. So stressful. I don't know the full story, so please forgive me if I am blundering in, well I AM blundering in ... and I don't want to come over all American TVM but it's your life too honey!!! that remark that you are "allowed" a few hours A WEEK to be creative / to yourself, and yet he gets jealous of you. This Is Not On. Your health will run ragged with such restrictions. All the best!!

It is just so hard to get anything from any Gov Department, apart from the tax office when they shower you with demands which must be paid NOW.

When anyone owes you money, it's a different story. Bah!

St Billy - yes I'm having another stab at it - it will help that MyMan now receives top rate of DLA on both mobility and care components.
Milla - nice to meet you - even if you did sashay in via suffolk. Am getting my act together .... but it is a bit up and down ... but trying to get the balance right. Thanks for the thoughts...
