Lacks Concentration

I'm once again having to check up on what MyMan is doing. He is not thinking straight. His mind is elsewhere. He checked over the car for me the other day. Windscreen wash, tyre pressures etc. Luckily I only did a short round trip to the local supermarket. When I got back home I found the radiator cap had not been replaced. It was still perched on the top of the engine where he placed it while checking the coolant levels. No harm done. But I need to keep and eye on what he is doing again. He's like a dreamy teenager.

It just goes to show how carefully I drive though. AS demonstrated by the fact hat the cap remained perched in its resting place while I was driving around these twisty, narrow Devon lanes!

So that's why so many middle-aged ladies are forever holding up traffic in Britain's country lanes - balancing radiator caps, ye bugger!

Oh, and BTW, does MyMan know what a caring care he's got?

Sorry, should have read 'caring carer'

Stinking Billy - how nice to meet you. I wont take offence at comment on my driving - my main problem is to be sure not to get caught for speeding - even around country lanes! You male porcine you..

BTW - my man does know what a careLESS carer he has - he often refers to me as his 'jailer', his 'minder' or when in a good mood 'er indoors'. He knows I write about him.

I don't wish to monopolise this particular Comments section but, regarding a previous comment of your own, elsewhere, there is something I would like to pick your brains on, if you would be so kind.

I think you queried whether, following my first and only post on June 20th, I might one day follow it up with a second one - perhaps before Christmas?

The truth is that I would love to, but don't know how. Oh, I have my "What's in a name" debut post, complete with a few comments from folks like yourself who have found it by clicking on my blog name, but that page just doesn't contain a text-box in which I could post another blog.

I have to believe that somewhere I have a home page (or whatever) complete with that facility - or am I wrong? I have tried 'best guess' attempts to find it, using Stinking Billy and What's in a name as the bases for a possible blogsite address, but to no avail.

I take back my light-hearted crack about lady drivers in country lanes which provoked you to call me a male porcine (as in road hog?), and throw myself on your tender mercy. I have the feeling that the answer to my query is going to be so obvious and simple that only a hog could have missed it, but I am happy to risk the disbelief and ridicule. But thanks anyway for your forebearance.

Dear Stinking Billy,
Well I'm assuming that as you are able to make and add comments to my blog you still have your log-in identity and password to Blogger. In which case when you next log on to read other blogs if you look at the top right hand corner there should be your email address, - 'Dashboard'and 'Sign Out'. I'm not sure what form of web browser you are using so just go up to the top right hand side of the Blog Page you're reading. It will be on the right on the Blogger Navigation bar.

Click on 'Dashboard'. This will take you to the page where you can 'Manage Your Blogs' where you can view and edit your posted entry and comments and also here is a button with a Green + that is 'New Post' - you should be well away then.

I look forward to reading your next entry.

I really was rather thinking along the lines of a Male Chauvinist Pig - I would never cast aspersions on your driving by calling you a road hog, Billy Boy.

Best Wishes

Penny, You are a gem. Please see my latest post at my blogsite, where I thank you publicly for your invaluable assistance.

As regards my being undersexed; I knew I should never have written that but, to answer your question, there is nothing wrong with me with the exception of that affliction which commonly affects men of my age, but that's bad enough.

But you have now cheered me up no end.

God bless!

Have just popped into your blog and have scanned through some of your posts...

I'm not entirely sure what your man's affliction is - I see thyroid and depression...

Having been through depression and mental illness myself - and the inside of psyche wards...I know there is hope to cling to.

I eventually made myself better - yes I took all the drugs prescribed and ended up worse the wear for it I believe....

However - one day I decided I didn't want to be like that for the rest of my life - sleeping all day - depressed, anxious, stressed - unable to cope...and I slowly weaned myself off of the drugs over a few years...

Most doctors will NOT recommend this course of action - however - I was so drugged I couldn't function in life.

I am on a disability pension and will probably never be able to work in the public again...but there was a time when I wouldn't have been able to type...

I met my best friend in the psyche ward...she's a schizophrenic and had been suicidal right along with me....

Her doctor had her so drugged he damaged her heart - and her parents decided to take action...

They found a megavitamin that claims to be of immense use and they weaned her off of the prescriptions and onto this....she now has her own business and works part-time as well, plus sits on a town council....bravo for her!!

Perhaps it's not for everyone...but there is always hope!!

Wishing you and your man the best of luck, health and peace of mind.
